Security tags are often used to protect the more expensive items in the store, such as clothing, alcohol and homewares. The transmitter works in conjunction with your EAS System at the front of the store, setting off an alarm and alerting security staff that the item and security tag are being removed from the store.

Keeping 3D glasses in the Cinema where they belong

With the rise in popularity of 3D and 4D cinema, experiences came the rise of opportunistic customers who felt the need to take their 3D glasses home with them at the end of the film. Taking 3D glasses can cost cinemas hundreds of thousands of pounds per year. JKI Distribution has a special range of security tags available, perfect for deterring thieves from taking cinema glasses.

The security tag generally fits around the arm of the glasses, on one side, whilst still remaining comfortable and wearable for the user. At the end of the show, if the glasses are not handed back in using the designated areas, the alarm will sound at the front door if a guest attempts to take them past the EAS security system.
